I Love Unicorns

Housewife Savant has a great post on unicorns...nah, just kidding. She has an AWESOME POST on commenting on blogs. As always, she is a black belt in wordology or writerology or whatever. The woman can ninja punch the hell out of the written word.

I love comments. What blogger doesn't? You are reading one of your favorite bloggers and there's a bunch of comments on a post. Yeah. You grab your bowl of popcorn to dig in and enjoy what people what to have to say. Bloggers make good commenters, you know. But, no. Sometimes the comments are so...so...not pertinent. But to be honest, I like any comment on my blog. Well, I guess, I wouldn't like to be yelled at. I am a big weenie.

So if I have left an inane and moronic comment on your blog, I'm sorry. And Charlie the Unicorn is weird.

I went into a mile long rant on Housewife Savant's comment section. I love her turn of the word.

I kept expecting Charlie to kick the other unicorns butts. When the dancing letters started, I wanted a bloodbath.

Where do you find this stuff.

Lots of folks just lurk, or thats what my stat counters tell me anyway!

@eloh There is one blogger I follow who has the quirkiest sense of humor and some of the most interesting videos. jaced.com. So, I sometimes, ummm, ummm, borrow his video. My 19 year old used to be a great source of funny videos. (She is the one that introduced me to Charlie the Unicorn and Dethklok, etc.) It is amazing what you can find on YouTube being totally distracted from work.

@sage Lurkers are okay, especially if they keep coming back and reading. I do wish they would comment though. How else will I find their blog? Think about it lurkers.

*clears throat*

I love Charlie the Unicorn. It provided hours of entertainment when we started calling our IT guy "Chhhaaaarrrrliieeee" and saying various phrases from the vid regarding him. He is a man who will lose his cool very quickly, so for us, it was just flippin' hilarious. We never dared to do it around him because he was a bit scary, and I actually think that made it more fun.

But even if it wasn't because of that, I still thought it hilarious.

"They took my freakin' kidney!"

I guess there's no accounting for taste...*shuffles off*

Oh yes, Jeanne, Charlie is hilarious for quoting and I have watched most of the other videos, but that voice saying "Chhharrrrlieee" gets in your head and that's it, that's what I hear all day long. You can shuffle back now.

Hey, you gave me a Heads Up. No; a Leg Up.
Er...a ...
oh I could say dirty/funny things here, but I won't.
Pardon me while I had a brain fart on the phrase Shout Out.
Thanks for the Shout Out.

We all agree on the comment "thing."
And unicorns and bloodbaths.

Your thoughts re: finding lurkers blogs if they'd "come out" - brilliant.
I only thought about ME. Par.

Oh, poor Charlie... gone from being the duo-kidney to a uno-kidney - should we call him an uno-corn now?

Comments are the ultimate pay-off to all of the hard work that good bloggers like you and I put in...it's like ...uhhhh, the money shot... hmmm, was that kind of a strong reference? Hehehe...

@funnyrunner...Perfect comment for that post! Man, I am so jealous of all the running you do. I am getting shin splints just thinking about it.

@organic meatbag...Carbon units of the world unite. I cannot wait to dig into your blog archive. I will probably have a WTF look on my face. I mean you totally read my mind about the new water bottles. The plastic is a just a millimeter thicker than cellophane I think and just as crunchy sounding.
